The Realization
In April 2020, we came to the grim realization that the traditional masks and face shields available were insufficient to protect us and our immunocompromised mother. To keep us all safe, we, sibling Co-Founders Dina and Yezin Al-Qaysi, set out to develop a game-changing Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR). We called it the BioVYZR 1.0.
THE JOURNEY
Equipped with our first few prototypes, we launched a crowd-funding campaign that captured the imagination of the world. In the span of four adrenaline-feuled months, we went from prototype to production, successfully delivering our first BioVYZRs in July of that year.
